Learn how to improve relationships through patience and kindness, and how to be happy and content in our modern lives. Discover why difficult people and situations have no real power to cause us problems, and how they can even help us develop real peace of mind.

In this meditation workshop Gen Tsalden will explain the simple Buddhist meditation and positive thinking techniques for enjoying happiness and a peaceful mind, regardless of the difficulties that arise in our life. Everyone is welcome.

THE TEACHER

Gen Kelsang Tsalden

Gen Kelsang Tsalden is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Adelaide. She is a fully ordained Australian Buddhist nun who has practised Kadampa Buddhism for over 18 years, training in Sydney and the UK. With 14 years experience as a Resident Teacher her clear, inspiring teachings and gentle manner make Buddhist wisdom accessible to all.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Hand sanitiser will be provided at the door as you arrive.

You will be greeted by our volunteers to register you for the workshop. We will have a list of the bookings so there is no need to print out your confirmation. 

There will be a selection of books and meditation CD’s to browse or purchase in the breaks.

The meditation will be done in chairs and they will be set up according to social distancing standards. 

The class will begin at 10am and end at 1pm.
