Half-day Workshops

Introduction to Buddhism

FULLARTON • SUNDAY 5 JUNE • 10AM-1PM • $40 PP

Learn the core insights and practices of Buddhism – from meditation and mindfulness to reincarnation, karma and the true nature of things – in a practical, accessible way. Discover how Buddhist meditation is a tool for developing qualities such as inner peace, love and patience, and a practical method to solve daily problems.

At this workshop Gen Tsalden will explain these topics and how Buddha’s teachings reveal a blueprint that anyone can follow to awaken our fullest potential for happiness. Everyone is welcome.

Overcoming Anxiety

FULLARTON • SUN 3 JUL • 10AM-1PM • $40 PP

Anxiety and stress are increasingly common problems for people in our busy, modern world. By gaining experience of Buddhist meditation techniques and positive thinking we can learn to control our mind, rather than allowing our worrying mind to control us. By learning to accept painful feelings rather than being panicked by them we can keep a calm and happy mind in all situations.
