Drop-in classes are the ideal way to improve both your meditation skills and your knowledge of the Buddhist approach to life.  Each class consists of a guided breathing meditation, a talk by the Teacher on an aspect of Buddhist philosophy and a guided meditation at the end (each week is a different topic).

During this series of meditation classes, learn Buddhist meditations and ways of thinking that will help you to completely transform your ordinary response to difficult situations. Instead of being controlled by your mind, learn how to control your mind. Observe your normal feelings of stress and anxiety completely disappear, and finally experience the peace and stillness you’ve always longed for.

THE TEACHER

The teacher of this course is Kelsang Luma. Luma is the Resident Teacher of Maitreya Kadampa Buddhist Centre. Luma is a well loved for her humility as well as her energy and joy in sharing Buddha’s instructions.

You don’t need to create an account to buy a class, you can check out as a guest. You also do not need to have a paypal account to process your booking. It may appear that you do, but once you click, “proceed to paypal”, then you can choose the option “pay with card”.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR ONLINE CLASS

Once you have completed the checkout process, wait for the Thank You page and click the link to gain access to your class.  If you have booked in advance, you will receive an email that includes a link to your online class.  Click the link and a new Youtube window will open.  If you enter before the online class begins you will see a private message until the class is available.
